LaSalle-Émard-Verdun

  1. Invest in developing Les Serres de Verdun to provide accessible local food for the community. Urban agriculture is the best way to combat rising grocery prices and greenhouse gas emissions at the same time.

  2. Make the Lachine Canal banks more kid-friendly with playgrounds and facilitate downtown commuting by making the cycle path usable all year round.

  3. Fund the purchase of buildings by non-profits and cooperative housing organizations to create hundreds of affordable apartment units.

What Makes Her the Best to Represent You in the House of Commons:

Jency is a dynamic leader with a deep commitment to making a difference. As a passionate beekeeper dedicated to biodiversity and environmental protection, she has also been a tireless advocate for social justice within the Green Party.

Armed with a diverse education in social intervention and communications, Jency brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her campaign. Her professional journey also includes roles as a political advisor and liaison officer at the provincial level.

Driven by impatience with the lack of serious action on climate change, Jency decided to run in her riding of LaSalle-Émard-Verdun to push for meaningful change. Ready to lead the charge in Ottawa, she is committed to fighting for our children, our community, and a prosperous future for all, with a clear understanding of the urgent challenges we face, from the climate crisis to affordable housing.

What It Means to Vote Green:

As a Green MP, Jency will have the freedom to put her community first and vote freely. No partisan politics, no frills - just hard working service towards LaSalle-Émard-Verdun’s priorities.

The Green team has a climate action plan based on science and evidence that sets out how Green MPs work together to make life better for all Canadians.
